Are your products eco-friendly/sustainable?
We source responsibly and work with manufacturers who minimize waste. Our materials are high-quality (which means longevity—less waste from constant replacement).
We’re not certified “eco-friendly” in marketing terms, but we believe sustainable gear means durable gear that lasts 2-3+ years instead of breaking down in 6 months. That’s our sustainability approach.
We’re continuously exploring more sustainable practices. If this matters to you, let us know—we listen to customer feedback.
What belt level should I be before training BJJ?
You don’t need any belt level. BJJ is for complete beginners. Everyone starts as a white belt, regardless of previous martial arts experience.
Our gear is made for white belts through black belts—absolute beginners to world champions. Many customers buy their first gi before their first class. That’s perfectly normal.
Start where you are. Your coach will help you learn at the right pace.
How does Element Fight Wear give back to the BJJ community?
Direct community work:
• Bangkok Community BJJ: We sponsor free training for 500+ underprivileged kids in Klong Toei (partnership with Bangkok Community Help Foundation)
• AFG OPEN: We organize Thailand’s biggest BJJ competition (2x per year, 500+ athletes)
• GRAP101: We support Thailand-wide gym connections and education
• Athlete sponsorships: We sponsor local competitors at AFG OPEN
Philosophy: Every purchase funds community growth. We reinvest a large share of our profits back into BJJ, not shareholder returns.
Can I use your gi for no-gi training?
Not directly. Our gis are designed for gi training (the gi itself is part of the sport). For no-gi, use our rash guards and shorts instead.
However, many grapplers wear a rash guard UNDER their gi to practice transitions between gi and no-gi. That’s a common approach.
For dedicated no-gi training, get our rash guards + shorts. Most dedicated grapplers train both gi and no-gi, so having both options is valuable.
Tip: you can use the Gi pants in combination with a rashguard for No-Gi training!
